YBM 전화 영어의 장점.
1. 시간과 장소에 구애받지 않고 지속적으로 할 수 있다.
2. 영어는 꾸준히 하는 것이 중요한데, 그 점에서 전화영어는 탁월하다고 할수 있다.
3. YBM이 시스템 관리가 잘 되어있다.
통번역을 공부하면서, native speaker 와 꾸준히 이야기를 하면 좋겠다는 생각으로 시작하게 되었습니다. 처음에 몇몇 분들과 이야기 하다가, peggy 라는 미국인을 만나게 되었습니다. 제가 호주로 유학을 간 몇달 동안을 제외하고는 지난 2년간 지속적으로 전화영화를 해왔습니다.
처음 전화영어를 시작하던 때와 비요하면 제 실력이 많이 향상되었음은 말할것도 없습니다. 특히, 외국인과 말하는데 있어서 울렁증이나, 두려움이 없어졌습니다. 사실, 전화로 얘기하는 것이 직접 얼굴 보고 얘기하는 것 보다 더 어렵다는건 다 아실꺼예요. 전화로 이렇게 많은 얘기를 하는데, 직접 만나서는 왜 못하겠어? 라는 오기가 생기기도 하구요.
이제는 peggy 와 전화로 서로의 일상에 대해서 얘기하는 것이 제 일과처럼 되어버렸습니다.
좋은 선생님을 만나서 좋고, YBM의 좋은 system 에도 감사드립니다. 영어는 끝이없으니까요.

처음에 한 달 정도 공짜로 체험 할 기회가 있어서 한달만 해보자 하는 생각으로 시작했는데,
어느덧 6개월이 지나고 있네요...^^
사실 전화영어만 가지고는 영어실력을 크게 향상시킬 거라는 기대는 마시구요...전화영어를 하면서 나의 부족한 점을 알아가고, 거기에 따라 스스로 공부를 해 나간다면 몇개월사이에 부쩍 향상된 실력을 볼 수 있을 것입니다.
처음에 David 선생님에서 이번달에 Michael 선생님으로 바뀌었는데, 선생님들 나름대로 다 장단점이 있으신 것 같아요. David 선생님은 편안하게 그날그날 하고 싶은 얘기를 했던 반면 Mike 선생님은 수업전에 discussion이나 질문거리를 준비하시고 전화해 주셔서 생각할 거리를 만들어 주세요. 두분다 좋지만 전 Mike 선생님의 수업이 더 적성에 맞네요. 뭔가 좀 더 실력이 업그레이드 되는 느낌이랄까?
여튼 전화영어덕분에 공부도 더 많이 하게되고, 다른 원어민 앞에서도 스스럼없이 편하게 말하게 되었어요. 원래 성격이 상대방이 누가 됐던 편하게 말하는 편이지만 전화영어덕분에 더 편해졌어요. 선생님들께서 칭찬도 많이해 주시고, 편안하게 말 할 수 있게 해 주시는 분위기 덕분인 것 같아요. 여튼 앞으로도 계속 쭉 할 생각입니다. 확실히 영어는 매일은 아니더라도 꾸준히 회화를 체험해야 느는 것 같아요. 계속 잘 부탁드립니다! |

전 미국인 선생님(David)과 프리토킹하고 있는데요,
일단 선생님께서 저의 부족한 점을 잘 집어 주시고, 매번 코멘트를 달아주셔서 실력향상에 도움이 됩니다.
이제 2개월해서 1년정도 꾸준히 하면 많은 발전이 있지 않을까 생각하네요.
10분이 너무 짧다는 생각이 들어서 일주일에 3번하다가 5번으로 이번엔 신청했어요.
